Waccamaw HOME Consortium
The Waccamaw HOME Consortium is made up of local jurisdictions including the counties of Georgetown, Horry, and Williamsburg and is an entitlement area whereby HUD funds are made available annually to increase the affordable housing stock in the region.
| Affordable Housing Development |
- The Consortium has HOME funding available once per year to expand the area’s affordable housing stock by providing grants, deferred loans, and/or low-interest loans to develop multi-unit affordable housing projects.
- Local governments (who choose to opt into the consortium during the program year) and non-profit organizations are able to apply for these grants while for-profits can apply for loans.

| Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Program |
- The COG works with partners to assist low- and moderate-income homeowners in Georgetown, Williamsburg, and Horry counties.
- The program assists homeowners with upgrading and repairing major systems in their homes to comply with current local building codes. Eligible uses include:
